(AURORA, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Fuel N Mart/Circle K store on Delores Way in Aurora last night at 7:30 PM, over a report of an Armed Robbery that had just occurred. Lt. Sheila Lorance with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, says according to store employees and witnesses, two Hispanic males entered the store and purchased a pack of cigarettes. "They then went to the back of the store, took a dark gray knit hat off of a display and returned to the counter. When the clerk started to ring up the hat one of the suspects pointed a small gray pistol at her and demanded that she put all of the money in the hat," Lorance said. "She started to cry and asked him if he was serious, he replied that he was and told her not to cry." Lorance says the suspect also said several times "my son, my son" but the clerk was unsure why he said that. Both suspects left the store and got into what was described as an older model dark colored Pontiac Bonneville that according to witnesses, looks like a Honda Accord. The vehicle may also have a rear taillight out. The suspects reportedly left westbound on Ehlen Road NE and then southbound on Interstate 5. The first suspect is described as Hispanic male with a dark skin tone, 22-23 years old, five foot three, 130 pounds, a dark black thick mustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt with a dark trench coat over it and had the hood on his head at the time of the incident. He was wearing gloves and covered his mouth when he talked and was in possession of the small-framed gray pistol. The second suspect was also a Hispanic male and had light skin tone, 22-23 years old, five foot nine, 180-190 pounds, thin mustache and was wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt under a dark coat. If you have any information regarding the suspects or suspect vehicle please contact Deputy Jim Herrring at the Marion County Sheriff's Office, (503) 588-5032.
