What Would You Tell Netanyahu?

Opposition to the Prawer Plan is coming from every corner — over a thousand youth in Haifa last weekend, hundreds of rabbis in the US, tens of thousands of people of conscience across the world.

(OAKLAND) - What if you could deliver a direct message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the same week that a Knesset Committee was voting to forcibly relocate over 40,000 Bedouin citizens of Israel?

What would you tell him?

Our friends in the Jewish Reform movement will have that opportunity next week—and they need a firm but supportive push from you to show some courage.

This week, call the Religious Action Center, the conscience of the Reform Movement, to say: “Please raise your voice and tell Netanyahu to #StopPrawerPlan. Your silence at the URJ will be interpreted as support!”

While the Knesset committee is voting on the Prawer Plan to unilaterally force non-Jews out of the Negev, Netanyahu will be speaking to 5,000 in San Diego at the biennial gathering of the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ)--the largest Jewish denomination in the US.

Months ago, the Religious Action Center of the Reform movement sent a letter to Netanyahu urging him to suspend the Prawer Plan, but we need to be sure they reiterate that message when they host Netanyahu next week.

Tell the Religious Action Center: “Tell Netanyahu to #StopPrawerPlan. America’s Jews of conscience oppose the plan to forcibly move over 40,000 Bedouin men, women and children from their ancestral lands.”

And yet, despite mass protest, the Netanyahu government plans to go ahead with advancing and passing this unconscionable plan.
