UNHCR Complicity Cited in Murder of Rwanda Journalist

We are gravely concerned for the safety of Ben Kimenyi and his brother and sister journalists.

Kagame's crimes against Rwanda are wide ranging, but the influence in the UNHCR is beyond unforgivable.
Kagame's crimes against Rwanda are wide ranging, but the influence in the UNHCR is beyond unforgivable.

(SALEM) - There's nothing better than being in control, and Rwanda's President Paul Kagame is there, in fact he's so comfortable that he's getting away with murder, literally.

Yesterday we reported the Murder of veteran Rwandan Journalist Charles Ingabire, it should be more shocking, but it is not.

Two days ago we carried an article that Benedicto Kimenyi with the New Times in Rwanda sent to our newsroom.

Their investigative articles are being censored in their own country, and they are relying on Salem-News.com to get the information out to the world for them. This is a terrible thing and must be addressed immediately.

Our Reporter Jennifer Fierberg, has been covering the developments in Rwanda non-stop and the number of journalists and politicians who have been murdered is staggering.

In October, she wrote about a powerful and telling confession from Dr. Theogene Rudasingwa, who was a member of Kagame's administration at the time that the 1994 Genocide of the Tutsi population took place.

Rwanda's late President Juvenal Habyarimana - & the man
accused of plotting his death, the current Pres. Paul Kagame

Rudasingwa explained in detail how Paul Kagame, then overall commander of the Rwandese Patriotic Army, the armed wing of the Rwandese Patriotic Front, was personally responsible for the shooting down of the plane.

"In July, 1994, Paul Kagame himself, with characteristic callousness and much glee, told me that he was responsible for shooting down the plane carrying Rwanda Pres. Juvenal Habyarimana," Dr. Rudasingwa said.

Dr. Rudasingwa told Jenn Fierberg why he wrote this statement, “it is not about a war of words but a battle for the soul of our nation.”

Now we are gravely concerned for the safety of Ben Kimenyi and his brother and sister journalists.

The trail of bodies is not a hard one to follow; Kagame has been able to insert representatives of the current Rwanda government into extremely important roles within the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) which is the world body responsible for assisting political refugees like the Rwandans.

Tricked by the UNHCR, Rwandan
Refugees Are Deported to Rwanda.

In the case of murdered Journalist Charles Ingabire, Ben Kimenyi said:

There's no doubt that he was murdered by Kagame's killing squad which is terrorizing all his critics. We are all receiving death threats, and Charles may murder should remind the international community that Rwandans are living in a perpetual fear of death.

He says even those who seek refugee in the neighbouring countries (East Africa countries) are hunted down by the regime. Unfortunately, the UNHCR has been compromised by Kagame's government.

For example, it is on record that they (UNHCR) denied the deceased's request to be relocated to another third country. Charles and other Rwandans living in Uganda have on several occasions pleaded with the UNHCR to be relocated to a third country but in vain. Worse still, UNHCR recently took a decision to send back all Rwandans refugees back to Rwanda.

This, Ben Kimenyi says, is another clear indication that they (UNHCR) have been comprised by the regime. He doesn't hesitate in issuing a call for full accountability.

Kimenyi says h strongly believes that the UNHCR team should be held responsible for the death of Charles, and any other killing that may occur henceforth.

The goal is a free Rwanda where a population is not forced to live in fear by the powers to be that rely on the apathy and corruption of U.S. politicians and their ability to infiltrate the UNHCR to continue a campaign of violence against both the press and against political opposition.

Rwandan leadership is remote-controlled by powerful nations (US and UK). These guys took advantage of the insatiable hunger for power for revenge of Kagame's kinsmen and abetted him to do all he did. His guilt is 25% while the rest of charges are on these powers. Except that nobody can do nothing to stop them, until they, themselves will decide to stop.
