(HARMONY, Maine) - One of Maine’s longest running productions, “HEMPSTOCK” kicks off it’s 21st year on August 19th through the 22nd. HEMPSTOCK is a Political / Musical gathering of Citizens, from all walks of life, who want to see the Prohibition of Cannabis / Hemp / Marijuana Lifted and Repealed in Maine and beyond. HEMPSTOCK is now held at the Freedom Field, 75 Carson Hill Road, Harmony, just off Rt. 150. Freedom Field is ½ a mile up Carson Hill Rd. on the left, and is fairly flat piece of property, with a slight slope in the 17 acre field main field and a 6 acre back field. This is what we needed to contain the crowds on site for camping and parking with plenty of room for growth. HEMPSTOCK will host over 30 bands this weekend with GENT TREADLY Featuring Steve Molitz of PARTICAL, BIG RHYTHM WINE, SUPERNAUT, HOLY SMOKE, SKYFOOT, 220’S, BETWEEN THE LINES and much more. Music starts at 2pm on Thurs. the 18th and Gate opens at Noon. Activist speakers will also be speaking between bands to enlighten, educate the gathering. We have activities for all ages with Horseshoe Pits, Volley Ball Nets, and plenty of room for Frisbees. Fire Pits are required for campfires and cooking and we have a big community fire pit by the stage. It is Field Side Camping with parking at site and some wooded camping is available. Water on site and Vendors will have plenty of food and drinks available. Come on out and support our efforts to Help End Marijuana Prohibition and have a great time doing so. Price is $50 camping and $25 per day in advance on line, and $60 camping and $30 per day at the gate. Tickets available now at www.mainevocals.net /festivals and info at 696-4444 or mainevocals@msn.com
