(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com is extremely proud to join forces with one of the nation's top writers; Terrence Aym Takes Aym at some of the most cutting edge stories in the world, concentrating on subjects that potentially have great effect on mankind.

Born in Minnesota, Terrence Aym grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs. Having traveled to 40 of the 50 states and lived in 7 of them, Aym is no stranger to travel. He's also spent time in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Western Africa.

An executive for many years with Wall Street broker-dealer firms, Aym has also had a life-long interest in science, technology, the arts, philosophy and history. If it's still possible to be a 'Renaissance man' in the 21st Century, Aym is working hard to be one.

Recently, Terrence Aym was a guest on Johannesburg, South Africa's popular evening radio talk show 'State of the Nation' with David Gleason on Classic FM. Art Bell (inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2009) and Dr. Peter Ward (Professor of Biology, a Professor of Earth and Space Sciences, and Adjunct Professor of Astronomy at the University of Washington in Seattle) opened the second half hour of the popular late night radio show, "Coast to Coast AM" with a serious discussion of Terrence Aym's article, "How BP Gulf disaster may have triggered a 'world-killing' event."

The Russian press has discovered Terrence Aym. Pravda-one of Russia's oldest and most read newspapers-ran a front page article about the Gulf and referenced Terrence Aym and his articles. english.pravda.ru/
