AMBER Alert Issued for 17-Year Old Colorado Girl

The suspect is 25-year old Daniel Baker, a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 124 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

(BAYFIELD, Colo.) - The State of Colorado issued the Amber Alert Monday after a 17-year old girl was forcibly taken from her home in Bayfield, in La Plata County.

Police say the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous. They are believed to be headed to Mexico.

17-year old Deanna Archuleta is a Hispanic female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing capri pants, a maroon shirt and black flip-flops.

The suspect is 25-year old Daniel Baker, a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 124 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing Blue jeans and a blue shirt.

Baker has an earring in his left ear. The suspect vehicle is a black Mercury Mountaineer with New Mexico license number 344DDD. Anyone with information is asked to call the La Plata County Sherriff's Office at 970-382-7020 or dial 911. Updates at
