(SALEM) - The price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Salem/Keizer, Oregon and the nation are passing record levels repeatedly now, and some residents find themselves having to make hard choices when it comes to generating enough money to fill the gas tank and make the daily commute to work. Of course drivers need to be conscious of avoiding excess travel and reducing speeds is not a bad idea, it will stretch the fuel supply more and make your hard-earned dollars last just a little longer.
