Deputies Investigate Shooting at Kings Row Motel

The victim, William Williams, has non-life-threatening injuries, and is still being treated at a local hospital.

Shooting investigation

(CLACKAMAS) - Just before midnight on Thursday, April 17, 2014 the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office was called to the Kings Row Motel on a report of a shooting at Kings Row Motel, located in the 12700 block of McLoughlin Blvd in Milwaukie, in an unincorporated area of Clackamas County.

The manager of the Motel called 911 reporting that a male, identified as William Williams, who is 46, came to the front desk reporting he had been shot by his wife, 47-year old Aletha Williams, while staying at the Motel.

Deputies responded to the scene and were able to make immediate phone contact with Aletha Williams. She cooperated with their commands and came out of the room without incident.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the incident. Aletha Carlese Williams was arrested and charged with Assault I. She is currently in custody at the Clackamas County Jail.

William Williams has non-life-threatening injuries, and is still being treated at a local hospital.
