Expose DHS-CPD, Part III

(SALEM., Ore.) - My ever increasing email has come to include the names of women who have actually died (Pamela Gaston) in the effort to effect a change in the broken, abusive practices of DHS-CPD.

I am humbled by the experience and efforts made by those who have gone before me; those who have given years of broken hearted effort for their children and their sisters. The strong, battle weary, women who are still without justice, in spite of their strength and courage.

The email messages from these wonderful woman are full of encouragement, hope, and offers to "do what I can to help".

These good women fought alone, but this is not the fight of an individual. It is the fight of every American citizen. The fight to maintain our American civil liberties. The time has come for tears to dry, for hearts to harden, and for demanding justice.

Yes, this IS a call to battle, a battle fought not with the guns of men, but the words of men. With the powerful and just words of the First Amendment of our Constitution.

It is only through unity that we can gain the attention we need to redress our grievances, and only with the documented evidence that we possess that we can prove what we know to be true.

In my last newsletter, I mentioned the need for voice activated recorders. Now I am saying, publicly, that any DHS client attending a meeting without one, is doing so, not only at their own risk, but at the continued risk of every family that is a client of DHS-CPD.

We are not a "special interest group". We are not looking for a tax break, new boating laws, land zoning, or seat belt requirements. We are fighting for our families! Our children!

Jenifer Saroian thinks that when we see something we believe to be dangerously toxic growing and flourishing in our society, it is our moral responsibility to try to do something. We wouldn't let a stranger step on a downed power line if we knew it was there...this isn't any different. It's about pointing out a problem, examining it, and finding a solution. The issue with DHS has been of growing concern to Jenifer for years, but recently, shes says she has come to feel that it's her personal and social responsibility to speak for the people who can't speak for themselves on this issue.

If it is illgal to use a voice recorder without the knowledge of both partiies then how did I lose mt children to the state of Michigan? My ex taped me and my children without my knowledge. He was never heard on the tape. I lost 3 children because of a tape I never knew existed please explain this to me?

I have no problem using a recorder and wish I had during all the wrong doings From DHS-CPD to my Whole family,with the loss of 4 children.

Jenifer, I wish you all the luck in the world with this. This agency needs to have some kind of oversight, I have been trying to follow their injustices but thats almost impossible because they pull the confidential card. If you need help with anything please count me in.

Jenifer Saroian - you are asking someone to commit a crime by concealing the recorder. It IS ILLEGAL to record a conversation in person without the knowledge of both parties. Look it up...

Editor to James: I appreciate the caution James, but Oregon has for many years been a "one party" state when it comes to consenting to recordings. This is not private property that we are talking about; we are talking about public employees who work for the citizens of Oregon. If this is the only way a person can document the truth of their encounters with this agency, then I certainly understand why it is suggested by Jenifer. Seriously, I know our rights have been eroded in recent years, but this is state law and I checked it in a few places today and it seems to be the same law we have had in Oregon for many years. If you know otherwise or believe we are missing something, then by all means forward us the specifics.

AGAIN...RECORDING IS NOT ILLEGAL. Next time hide it your purse! The very fact that they objected INDICATES WRONGDOING! Please...don't work against yourselves here...you have a RIGHT TO RECORD YOUR MEETINGS!

I took a recorder to one of my supervised visits once, and the visit was cancelled for 'my poor behavior' choice. DHS told me I could ask to reschedule visits when I agreed not to bring the recorder. It took them a month to reschedule my visits. I will never get that time back.

Bob, you are a perfect example of the fear and hatred they instill. Recording IS NOT ILLEGAL, and it is a valuable tool in gathering evidence. Perhaps now it is DHS that needs to "be careful".

They are murderers. They have killed people I love. Be careful about recording things - they may have a way to use that against you if it is even vaguely illegal - they are well connected and they are experts at threats - valid or not.
