(STAYTON, OR) - Did you know that 10 to 18% of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans may have post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD? Do you know the signs and symptoms and where to turn for help?

Dr. David Collier, a team leader at the Salem Oregon Veterans Health Administration, will speak on these issues and answer questions at an informative lecture on our returning veterans and post-traumatic stress disorder on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Santiam Memorial Hospital's Freres Auditorium in Stayton, Oregon.

Joining Dr. Collier will be soldiers and their families who will share their experiences and answer questions about PTSD. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

This event is sponsored by the Blue Star Mothers of the Willamette Valley, a nonprofit group of military family members who provide support to military service members and their families.
