'Armed and Dangerous' Ferrari Thief on the Loose

Exotic car thief known to frequent Salem, Tillamook and Grande Ronde areas.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - The Polk County Sheriff's Office is requesting help in locating 29-year old Leon Mickey Davis.

He is described as about 5'10", 150 pounds with short brown hair.

Sgt. Mark Garton with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, said Davis is currently wanted for various crimes including Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle when he allegedly stole a 2004 Ferrari, valued at over $125,000.

Garton says that led to a pursuit, possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding, possession of a controlled substance and criminal mischief.

"Leon is known to frequent the Grand Ronde, Salem and Tillamook areas," Garton said.

"There is also information that he is armed with a firearm, so he should be considered armed and dangerous."

Anyone with information to his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 503-623-9251.

Ferrari owners are advised to lock their cars.
