(LINCOLN CITY) - Living in the Pacific Northwest is far different then living on the sunny beaches of Southern California. The surfing scene is equally as different.

The Pacific Northwest’s brutally cold winters often lead to incredible days and sometimes weeks pass without being able to enter the water. When the swell and weather conditions do come together, the Oregon coast can elevate itself to one of the best big-wave surf destinations in the world.

Lincoln City is a small coastal town located on the desolate coast and home to approximately a dozen big wave surfers that brave the harsh conditions in pursuit of riding some of the biggest waves in the world.

Follow this group of modern day cowboys as they tackle one of the last frontiers in the attempt to keep the dream alive while juggling family, work and daily responsibilities.

Watch, as Eric Akiskalian's surfing plans get turned upside down at the very last minute as he is confronted with high drama by a local event promoter named John Force due to a decade long rivalry that just won't go away.

Follow Akiskalian, his long time friend Keith Galbraith and the locals as they take us through all the drama filled reality of chasing down that next big swell in the wild wild west.
