21-Year Old Man Found Dead Behind the Wheel in Gresham

(GRESHAM, Ore.) - Gresham Police were called to check the welfare of an individual slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle in the 2000 block of SE 182nd Wednesday at 7:47 p.m.

Sgt. Rick Wilson with Gresham Police, says officers arriving on the scene found a 21-year old male deceased behind the wheel of a car.

Th Major Crimes Team (MCT) was activated, Wilson said, and is currently investigating this as suspicious death.

"No information regarding a cause of death will be released until the Medical Examiner has a chance to perform an autopsy."

He says the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members.

But in the meanwhile, he did ask that anyone with any information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Gresham Police.
